The project uses high throughput sequencing data to understand historical and recent impacts of climate in the genetic composition of species, including population structure and hybridization rates. The work of the fellowship holder will be mainly focused in analyses of genomic data of hares, inferring population demography, introgressive hybridization and the relative roles of demography and natural selection in determining the inferred patterns.

Experiência:  training in Biological Sciences or similar areas, and with experience in bioinformatics analyses of genomic data. We seek candidates with i) strong experience in analyses of next generation sequencing data, ii) programming skills in at least one language.
