The Microscopy Manager will be responsible for the Optical Imaging & Microscopy Platform that will support the various research areas in the centre. The platform supports all Champalimaud Research laboratories, providing comprehensive training for the independent use of widefield, confocal, lightsheet and other fluorescence microscopy systems. The Microscopy Manager will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art microscopy systems, implement innovative microscopy-based approaches and image processing and analysis software tools in support of the scientific research activities of the Champalimaud research and collaborating partners.
